Principal's Message

‌‌Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School was named for a distinguished chemist who served as the Associate Dean of Diversity for the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta until her death on Saturday, May 25, 2019

Dr. Armour was a passionate scientist and educator who never missed an opportunity to talk about the importance of curiosity, asking questions, and making the world a better place. Visit our School Profile page to learn more about our school's namesake.

As principal of Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School, I am committed to nurturing a natural curiosity and joy of learning in all of our children and young people as they discover and develop their unique gifts.

The future belongs to the curious. The ones who are not afraid to try it, explore it, poke at it, question it and turn it inside out.   ~Anonymous
