Yellow Bus Eligibility for 2026-2027

The province recently revised transportation eligibility for students in Alberta. Starting in the 2026–27 school year, there will be some changes to who qualifies for yellow bus service.

Students attending their designated school may be eligible for transportation service if they are:

• in Kindergarten to Grade 6 and live at least 1.6 kilometres away (currently it is 1 km)

• in Grades 7 to 9 and live at least two kilometres away and Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is not available.(no changes)

Whether your child is new to yellow bus service or a current rider, you need to apply for yellow bus service each school year. If you have more than one child who needs yellow bus service, you will need to apply for each child.

Route information will be available at the office and through SchoolZone before the first day of school.

EDMONTON TRANSIT SERVICE (ETS)

Visit Edmonton Transit System (ETS) for information about ETS routes to Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School.

Students who use ETS transportation to travel to Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour can receive an ARC card from the school office and load a monthly bus pass by paying on SchoolZone.
