NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR
Our school has closed boundaries and we use the lottery process when the number of resident students who wish to enrol in a particular grade exceeds the available space in that grade.
At this time, we do not have any spaces for new students for the 2022-23 school year.
Please see the options for families moving into the Ambleside and Glenridding Heights neighbourhood.
OPTION 1: Enrol at the overflow designated school. Siblings are guaranteed a space at the overflow designated school if the grade is offered. The overflow designated schools for Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School are: McKee School (yellow bus service is available) for Kindergarten to Grade 6 and Vernon Barford School for Grades 7 to 9.
OPTION 2: Enrol at a school of choice with space in planned classes. If you would like your child to go to another Division school, you will need to call to see if there is space. Yellow bus service is not available except for some alternative programs.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR
Lottery Process at Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School
Our school will continue to have a lottery process in place for new resident students enrolling for the 2023-24 school year. This will not impact current students who attend our school and they can still attend.
Our school will not accept new registrations from families in the attendance area if the student is not a resident of Edmonton Public Schools. A student is considered a resident of Edmonton Public Schools if they have at least one parent who lives in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic.
Resident students who aren’t selected through the lottery process can attend the overflow designated schools, McKee School for K-6 and Vernon Barford School for 7-9, a school with space in planned classes, or remain at their current school, if applicable.
Siblings of current students attending our school
New resident students in the attendance area with a sibling returning to the school next year will get priority, but are not guaranteed to attend.
