NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR
If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn more.
In order to register at DMAA (or be added to the call back list), children must be resident students (at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic). All registration forms must be accompanied by at least 3 pieces of proof of address.
Parents/Guardians of current Edmonton Public students new to our designated attendance area (Ambleside and Glenridding Heights) should also complete the online registration form.
Registration forms received over the summer will be processed in the order they are received. You must be living in the attendance area and all required documentation must be included for your registration form to be processed.
For more information, contact our office at 587-489-4704 or margaretannarmour@epsb.ca.
Lottery Process at Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School
Watch the Growth Control Model video for an overview of the lottery process. You can also read more about the lottery process here.
At this time, we have limited space in Kindergarten, Grade 3 and Grade 7 for the 2023-24 school year.
If you move into the Ambleside or Glenridding Heights neighbourhoods and we do not have space for your child, you have the following options.
OPTION 1: Enrol at the overflow designated school:
- McKee School for K-6 (yellow bus service is available)
- Vernon Barford School for 7-9 (yellow bus service may be available)
Siblings are guaranteed a space at the overflow designated school if the grade is offered.
OPTION 2: Enrol at a school of choice with space in planned classes. If you would like your child to go to another Division school, you will need to call to see if there is space. Yellow bus service is not available except for some alternative programs.
